The Association of Building and Landscape Culture for Roskilde has chosen to award Roskilde Domsogn’s new Konventgård, as the Year’s House in Roskilde. A plaque was unveiled by Roskilde’s mayor, Joy Mogensen, and there were also speeches by church council president, Lis M. Frederiksen, and the Association of Building and Environmental Culture in Roskilde President, Bent Oslev. Holsøe Architects congratulates Roskilde Domsogn with the prestigious award.
Copenhagen Airport, Terminal 2

Holsøe Architects, in collaboration with Moe & Brødsgaard won the lead consultancy services on renovation of Terminal 2 at Copenhagen Airport.
On Friday the 11th November the inauguration of Roskilde Domsogn new parish community center, also known as Konventgården, was held.
Konventgården was inaugurated with speeches by Roskilde Domsogn parish council chairman Lis M. Frederiksen, administration manager Uffe Nielsen, architect Peter Holsøe and Niels Techen from contractor Helmer Christiansen A/S.

Holbæk College of Education

Holsøe Architects, in collaboration with Moe & Brødsgaard and Charlotte Skibsted Landscape Architects won the competition for a 3-year framework agreement to Holbæk College of Education. Holbæk College of Education was designed by Gehrdt Bornebusch, Max Brüel and Jorgen Selchau in 1965 and was listed in 2010.

Reinstate of Norwegian Bridge

As part of The Palace and Properties Agency’s project ‘Life and Light in Søndermarken’ the wooden bridge in front of Norwegian House in Søndermarken will be restored to its original form. Holsøe Architects included in the project as advisors to Jönsson a/s, which has been assigned the task of turnkey.
Topping-out in Roskilde

Friday the 17th June was held topping-out ceremony for Roskilde Domsogn new parish community center. The new parish community center is a renovation of and additions to the protected Konventgård’s barn. With this new building, the Konventgård’s original design as built around a courtyard is restored. Holsøe Architects is a full-service consultant and perform the task in collaboration with Moe & Brødsgaard.
Holsøe Architects has been a full-service consultant in the construction of a new orangery to the care center Breelteparken. The project also consists of renovation of approx. 1.5 km roofed connections and a new exterior elevator from nursing homes to care center. Breelteparken’s new orangery was inaugurated by Her Royal Highness Princess Benedikte, who is patron of Breelteparken.
First sod for Trekroner and HP-house

Holsøe Architects participated together with Roskilde Municipality, Enemærke & Petersen, future residents and others in first sod for the construction of 155 passive homes for the nursing center Trekroner and the HP-house.
First sod was cut by Roskilde Municipality mayor, Poul Lindor Nielsen, and project monitoring group.
Energy optimization of the Palaces and Properties Agency properties
Holsøe Architects optimizes energy group 1 properties for the Palaces and Properties Agency. The optimization includes roofs, facades, ventilation etc. in such Christiansborg, the Foreign Ministry and the Ministry of Transportation.
The Maison de l’Europe in Copenhagen

Holsøe Architects has won the competition for the rebuilding of the Europe-house Information Office in Copenhagen (Maison de l’Europe). The reconstruction consists in particular of an Information Centre (European Public Space), which will help to create more contact and information about the European Parliament.
Roskilde Domsogns Church has decided that the Heritage Committee can go on working on a draft proposal from Holsøe Architects to an underground information center directly linked to the cathedral.
Copenhagen Airport’s upcoming low-cost facility, which opens on 31st October this year, has now officially been named “CPH Go”. The low-cost “finger” has hitherto been known as “CPH Swift”, but the working title is deselected in favor of CPH Go that sends a clear message about what it’s all about: More cheap flights to several destinations.
Enemærke & Petersen A/S in collaboration with Holsøe Architects A/S, Moe & Brødsgaard A/S Consulting Engineers and Landscape Architects Roskilde I/S has won a turnkey contract competition for the 107 care homes and 48 disability and psychiatric residences built as passive houses in Roskilde.
Holsøe Architects is going to project 126 passive houses. E. Pihl & Son A.S. in collaboration with Holsøe Architects A/S, Henrik Larsen Engineering Consultants A/S and Thing & Waino landscape architects aps won the turnkey competition for 126 public housing built as passive houses Ravnsborgvej in Køge for Køge Boligselskab.

Topping-out ceremony for CPH Swift (CPH Go)

On 25 March 2010 was held topping-out ceremony for CPH SWIFT. Amongst others the CPH’s CEO Brian Petersen and Brødrene A. & B. Andersen’s Division Director Henry Bendsen gave speeches.
First February 2010 it was announced that Holsøe Architects has won a four-year framework agreement offered by KAB.
The framework agreement, which was won in collaboration with Alectia A/S, relating to new housing, day care centers, elderly and nursing homes.
Holsøe Architects looks forward to working together.
Holsøe Architects designs CPH Swift

Brødrene A. & B. Andersen A/S in collaboration with Holsøe Architects A/S and Alectia A/S won the turnkey competition for CPH Swift for Copenhagen Airports A/S.
Holsøe Architects has been prequalified to bid for the restoration of Wiedewelt sculptures of Brede Allé, Fredensborg Slotshave. The offer has been delivered and are awaiting decision.
