Marienborg garden pavilion

The new garden pavilion at Marienborg at Bagsværd Sø will at major official events be a relieve to the old main building, bequeathed to the State by barrister, businessman and art collector C. L. David at his death in 1960 as a summer residence for the then incumbent  Prime Minister.
The garden pavilion is gently placed in the park near the gardener’s pavilion at the site where two old worn greenhouses were located.
The garden pavilion is an environmentally friendly building that is designed so that it complies with the Requirements for Buildings in the energy class 1.
